Welcome to factum.co.uk

This is simply a home page, and my area for publishing all the photos, stories, links and thoughts that I'd like to share.

  • The photo area contains all the home, family and friends and holiday shots taken over time. This includes Paris, Ethiopia, Italy, Jeremy and Marisa's wedding, Scott and Jackies wedding and the birthday parties!

  • My diary area is a limited blog-style area where I take time to write a whole load of things down.

  • The CV section has a resume of who I am and brief notes on the work areas I have achieved.

  • Development is reserved for anything I have created and want to access. I think this area won't be massive for a while, but I have some things I am trying out right now.

  • Finally, I have added the ubiquitous links that all home pages must have...

14-Jun-2007 22:00 GMT Tsehie is visiting tonight, Emandu was enjoying tickling her and was on a mad rush. She named her almost born baby bro the other day; 'Harrick' (from Amharic, the Ethiopian language). Harrick is a cool name, but not sure if we'll use it. Another choice is Taric (Tarique?) - Amharic for 'history' - I like this name loads too, but immediately associated it with Saddam Hussein's former Information Minister, Tariq al Aziz!
14-Jun-2007 21:17 GMT factum.co.uk is back online again - using one of my old look and feels. Finding the time for 'home developing' is never easy, but last night I made my first game (posted under development), thanks to PC Plus. It uses the SDL framework and I pretty much followed the article, but changed the sprites a little - I'll work on this a bit to improve collision detection. You'll need .Net 2.0 to play. I'll try and put up my Ajax Vanity Search page, but just re-installed Vista and I'll have to load up all the components again.
09-Jun-2007 18:39 GMT Met up with Kai Sun again, and introduced him to Emandu and Betania - Emandu completely ignored me and went over to Kai immediately, so I guess that was a success. It is amazing that my best friend from school lives only 10 mins away in the city; superb.
01-Jun-2007 06:35 GMT Big changes going on. Moving to a major UK Bank in Canary Wharf as an Architect, really looking forward to starting of life here. IST was disappointed when I said I was leaving (it has been five years), but I really need to make the break and try something new. Dave was suprised I chose to leave just before the new baby boy is born, but there is never a good time to leave a job. It's goodbye to a solid family that I've known for such a long time, but not one that will be forgotten.
